 Laura Scheringa (1986, Geleen) is beeldend kunstenaar. Afgestudeerd in 2008 aan de ABKMaastricht en in 2011 aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Laura kijkt graag naar landschappen (vanuit de ruimte en van kikkerperspectief) en legt dit vast op papier en doek. Ze volgt de lijnen die het landschap vormen tot een bewegelijke massa, met structuren en sedimentatie, wat er aan het oppervlak afspeelt. En ze wilt graven, wroeten. Ze woont en werkt in Amsterdam.
